Frequently
Asked
Questions
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Yes, we are happy to offer our services in both English and Spanish. Our team is fluent in Spanish, ensuring clear communication throughout the project. If you prefer to communicate in Spanish, just let us know when you contact us, and we will accommodate your needs.
What services do you offer?
We provide a wide range of home improvement services, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishing, flooring installation, drywall repairs, painting, electrical work, plumbing, and more. We also offer general contracting services for larger renovation projects.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured, which ensures that all work is performed in compliance with local regulations and protects both you and our team throughout the project.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we provide free, no-obligation estimates for all projects. You can request an estimate through our website or by giving us a call, and we’ll schedule a time to assess your project in person.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes, for larger projects that require permits, we take care of applying for the necessary permits and coordinating any inspections that may be required by local authorities.
Can I live in my home during renovations?
For most projects, you can continue living in your home, though there may be certain areas that are off-limits for the duration of the work. For larger remodels, we’ll discuss the potential disruptions and help you plan accordingly.
What is your process for working with subcontractors?
We manage all aspects of the project, including coordinating with trusted subcontractors for specialized tasks like electrical, plumbing, or custom carpentry. All subcontractors are vetted to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and professionalism.
How do I prepare for a home improvement project?
Before we begin, we’ll provide specific instructions depending on the project. Typically, we ask that you clear out the work area and secure any valuables. We’ll take steps to protect your home from dust and debris during the project.
How do payments work?
We typically require a 25% deposit as an agreement to the estimate and to put you on the schedule, then 35% due on the project start date with the remaining balance due upon project completion. For larger projects, we may set up a payment schedule based on key milestones.
Do you offer labor-only pricing?
Yes, we focus on labor-only services. However, if needed, we can handle the purchase and delivery of materials for your project. Please note that the cost of materials is separate from our initial estimate. We do not mark up material prices—what we pay is exactly what you will pay, with receipts provided for transparency. This ensures you receive the materials at cost, and you’ll have full visibility into your project’s expenses.

For a smooth workflow, we ask that any items other than building materials, such as fixtures, appliances, or special design elements, be finalized and ready on-site before we begin the work. This ensures there are no delays during installation.
How do you handle changes or unexpected issues during the project?
If any changes or unexpected issues arise during the project, we will discuss them with you immediately. We provide solutions and adjust the scope, timeline, or cost if necessary, but always with your approval before proceeding.
